|
Ear surgery requires good anatomical knowledge. For the success of surgery practical information and experience is also important. The most important need of ear surgery is to perform operations in a bloodless manner. Thus I would like to share practical information and important points I obtained during may career about reducing bleeding with preoperative preparation and regulation of anesthesia; hints for stapes surgery; technique for preparation of autografts and allografts; important points in cholesteatome surgery; the important points in ossiculoplasty and myringoplasty; suggestions of surgical technique for outer ear canal atresia. |
